Throughout the film, I plan to have low-key lighting. After my research on horror films I am fully aware that low-key lighting is a common convention used in horror films to create suspense and make the scene overall more scary. Also, I will do this by filming the scenes when it gets darker during the day, to emphasise what is unravelling within the film opening. The only time high-key lighting will be used is when I shoot inside the party as it will up-lift the mood.
